Short & long term goals

  • To continue training alongside the able-bodied ski racing programme at Cardrona Alpine Ski Resort, and with those athletes who have similar goals to my own.
  • To continue specialty training camps with my coach  in New Zealand and abroad.
  •  To obtain consistent top-three results in the Northern Hemisphere in Norams and top placing’s on the World Cup Circuit.
  • To work my way onto the podium during the New Zealand Winter Games.
  • To develop new strategies, equipment and knowledge to keep building a strong foundation, season to season, on snow and in physical conditioning.

Long term

  • I aim to further improve my (FIS) points and world rankings.
  • To keep up hard dry-land training work: maintain a fit and strong position both with weights aerobically, anaerobically and to maintain and prevent any injuries.
  • Maintain and prevent any injuries through prehab, rehab, physio, massage and Pilates.
  • To see snowboarding introduced to the Winter Paralympics.
  • To continue to raise the awareness and profile of disability sport in New Zealand and abroad. Not only in skiing but any sport.
  • To continue and further and finish my agribusiness studies.
  • To raise the brand of myself and secure ongoing sponsorship.
