I have known Adam for 17 years, initially through my late wife Gilly, who was the driving force behind the establishment of Disabled Snow Sports New Zealand.

Gilly mentored Adam during the time she served on the board of the National Paralympics Committee of New Zealand, as the New Zealand team physio, New Zealand Paralympics’ classifier and as the International Paralympics Committee Head of Classification for the IPC Alpine Skiing Sport Technical Committee.  To read full article

I had the good fortune to be dragged in to helping in the early days of the original Disabled Skiing programme here in New Zealand by Gilly Hall. In 1980 and 1984 I coached the NZ teams that pioneered our participation in international winter Paralympic competition and I will never forget the incredible feeling of watching the NZ flag being raised at the medal ceremonies in 1984. Now Adam Hall is giving me the chance to experience that feeling again in Sochi at the next Paralympics. He’s already proved he can do it by taking the Gold in such emphatic style in Vancouver 2010. 2014 is clearly in his sights. To read more…
